Kesar Indian Restaurant stems from a passion for authentic Indian cuisine. I travelled to all four corners of India in search of the right aromas, colours, and flavours in order to create a space in Mauritius where people could come together and enjoy authentic, flavourful Indian cuisine.
A visit to Kesar means being transported to a faraway land of unmatchable fragrances and flavours. We’re here to ensure we satisfy customer tastes and serve them authentic, passion-filled dishes by our dedicated team.

Chicken that melts in your mouth and tender lamb chops that surprisingly kept the crunchy grilled taste will amaze you. Contemporary decor with Indian touch., charming servers and the serene atmosphere will make it a favourite of yours.

Place is nice and cozy with a very friendly staff. Service is quite rapid. Restaurant stands out from other indian restaurants as it looks very much classy but yet, still does need just a lil touch of India. Soothing bollywood instrumentals set a chilled out ambiance when you enjoying the delicacies. Coming to food, again a 5 star for the averagedly spiced dishes suitable for mauritians’taste. The chicken makhani, chicken hyderabadi, rogan josh and vegetable korma were perfect bliss along with our garlic and butter naans. Special mention to one member of the staff, Raghav, who was very diplomatic and presented himself very elegantly, guiding us through the menu and adding his personal touch to the service given.

yesterday I had dinner with my family there and I would say that this is the best place in flacq for an Indian restaurant the atmosphere was very cool the food was very nice and well served and the price is affordable for all.keep it up guys thanks a lot to the kesar team and will see you soon.for vegetable lovers try the madrasi eggplant I can say the best one
